What you'll do
Paddle silently along the Zambezi River with experienced guide and conservationist, Farai, as hippos surface nearby and fish eagles circle overhead. This magic golden-hour canoe session is completely free — Farai simply wants more people to fall in love with the Zambezi so they will help protect it.
What's included
Swimwear, change of clothes, sandals that can get wet, sunscreen, and a waterproof bag for your phone.
Basic swimming ability required. All guests must be able to swim at least 25 metres unassisted. Ages 16+ unless accompanied by a parent.
Unfortunately the canoe experience is not suitable for guests with significant upper body mobility limitations. Please contact Farai to explore alternatives.
Activity level
Moderate. Two hours of paddling. Farai sets a gentle pace — no prior canoeing experience needed.
Cancellation policy
This is a free experience. No booking deposit needed. A WhatsApp confirmation 24 hours prior is appreciated.
Pre-screening
Bookings are limited to 1-2 guests. Booking guests must pass an Outly pre-screening to attend this experience or otherwise risk cancellation.
